The Dish: Gaston’s Bistro brings French flair to family friendly dining

Just off the beaten path on John Humphrey Drive in Orland Park, Gaston’s Bistro is serving French- and American-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

Owner Yaser Elkayyal has owned Gaston’s Bistro in Orland Park for almost 20 years since purchasing it from its original owners.

“We lean more toward a bistro atmosphere with a French-American flair,” Elkayyal said. “We purchased it from the original owner who was from Southern France, and his name was Gaston. It’s named after him.”
