St. John’s celebrates the Feast of Theophany

St. John Kochurov Orthodox Chapel in New Lenox made the short trip to nearby Hickory Creek January 6 to celebrate the Feast of Theophany — the Baptism of Jesus Christ in the River Jordan. It is a tradition in the Orthodox Church on Theophany to bless a natural body of water and this was the fourth such trip for the Chapel.
