A library may not be the usual or expected venue for a choir group performance, but the Lincoln-Way Central Madrigal Choir made it work.
On Dec. 4, the madrigals performed a set of holiday tunes and classic renaissance songs to a packed room at the Mokena Community
Public Library District. The singers donned elaborate costumes typical of the 16th century, which choir director Mike Bultman said were mostly handmade.
