Thin-crust pizza is Durbin’s calling card.

The restaurant — which has seven locations, including those in Tinley Park and Frankfort — recently had its pie voted best pizza in the Chicagoland by listeners of WSCR 670 The Score.

John McAuliffe, the general manager at the Tinley Park location, 17265 Oak Park Ave., will not dispute how important the pizza is to the restaurant.

“We sell more pizza than anything,” McAuliffe said. “It’s our most popular item and what we are known for.”
