Tonight, women from all over the area will attend a class and learn to defend themselves during situations no person hopes to ever find themselves in.

It’s unfortunate that we have to worry about being attacked, but the skills required to defend oneself are some of the most valuable there are.

Last year, I not only wrote about the One Light Self-Defense course hosted by Margo McDermed’s office, but I took the class, as well.
