Chicago Wolves defenseman Zach Whitecloud took time off the ice to visit the New Lenox Public Library on Jan. 9 and speak with area children about his life as a hockey player.

“This gives kids the opportunity to ask questions to pro athletes like me to get a sense of what I do and what my life is like,” Whitecloud said. “I want kids to know how important education, athletics and living a healthy lifestyle is.”
