The Klimala family, of New Lenox, lost practically all of their belongings in an explosion late March that leveled every single square inch of the property they once called home.

Members of the New Lenox Park District Quilting Club are no strangers to making quilts for charitable causes. So, when the women heard about the Kilmala family’s situation, they decided that donating one of their quilts to the family would be the right thing to do.
